DC Step Up Voltage Converter
A simple DC to DC step up voltage converter using LM2700 is shown here. LM2700 is a step up switching converter that has a 3.6A, 80 M ohm internal switch. It can be operated at 600 kHz or 1.25MHz switching frequency.
In the circuit LM2700 is wired in order to produce 8V DC output from a 3V input at a switching frequency of 600MHz. Resistor network consisting of R2 and R3 sets the output voltage. Capacitor C1 and C2 are meant for input voltage filter for reducing ripple and noise. FSCLT pin (pin13) is connected to ground in order to run the IC at 600KHz switching frequency. Connecting this pin to Vin will make the IC run at 1.25MHz.

Input voltage should not be raised above 12V.
While soldering lead temperature must not exceed 300C.

Please, I have a Challenge as below:
The power per cell is only about 1 W. This has to be converted from about 2V DC to 240 V AC (the actual voltage varies between 1V to 4 V depending upon climatic conditions and sunlight). Hence currents and hence power will be low.
The requirement therefore is for an integrated circuit that will handle both the DC voltage fluctuations and the power fluctuations and step up to 240V AC. There will be at least 10,000 of these little cells that will go to make up the 10KW final output of the load. That is what needs to be handled by each of the circuits that make up the final array for the 10,000 KW
Its like an array of solar cells, only the source is slightly different
